Good to see libraries mentioned in 2008...

The cover of the December 31 issue of U. S. News & World Report proclaims that they will disclose the 50 ways by which you can improve your life in the coming year. As I flipped through to page 50, in their Quick Picks section, a short article by Jill Konieczko titled Get (and use) a Library Card heading caught my eye. The article explains that in addition to checking out books, those visiting libraries "end up using the library's computers and exploring its cultural exhibits and programs." More importantly, the article features information on how to find the nearest library by linking to: www.ilovelibraries.org/findyourlibrary/index.cfm.
Libraries mentioned as an important life-improving tool. Hmm...What a comforting thought!!!
